my other map is dead
[editline]02:32PM[/editline]
oh and what should i add?
window frames, door frames, fix the garage wall, the lighting, the shutters, the grass, garage door the texture to the arch inside, the texture of the house outside.
Also, draw out a plan before you map it, I guarantee it will make the map look better.
the garage door was going down!
I know. What kind of garage door goes down into the ground to open? None. None at all.
Unless you were trying to make a blast door.
then how will i go about making it like a garage¿

Door
Follow the tutorial about how to make a train that follows a track, and apply it to the door.

cant find it any where
This looks the same as your other map. You should of just changed the pictures instead of making another thread.
how the butt did you make a door
I suck at doors
:sigh:
It barely looks like a real house.
It desperately needs windows frames and door frames, the texturing is weird, it's blocky, bland and uninteresting. The 'shutters' look weird and why does the garage door go down?
come on, do you even have a house, if u do, do u have a garage door? is it wood?
then how will i go about making it like a garage¿

Door
func_rotating parented to a func_movelinear should do it. The timings and origins will need to be tweaked until they work how you want, but that's all part of mapping
As you are a beginner mapper i would highly recommended you go outside and look at a house before mapping it. Your version is very ugly and crude. It looks like something a five year old may draw with crayons.
Also...why are you running hl2 in a window?
EDIT: also, no light sources inside. Turn on a light in real life, where does the light come from?
