Because I saw the map flying everywhere and nobody finding it, here is the simple scenebuilding map gm_black.
Apparently this type of map didn't really exist as of now, so here you go. Now there are also multiple versions for your pleasure!
DOWNLOAD:
gm_black_v2 - Giant black room with editable fog, sky and sun as well as a colorable floor and a skybox (x16 multiplier) for skylines and the like. To find the skybox, just go to spawn and noclip downwards. The tile floor area is the original map and everything outside is outside of the map.

gm_black_reflective_v2 - Identical to gm_black_v2 except that the floor isn't colorable but reflective. Only problems with the reflective floor are that the sky doesn't mirror and that objects too distant don't either. Can't do anything about the engine's limits, sorry!

Working on making a water version of gm_black_v2. Long compile times on this, so please be patient!
Hope you find this map useful!
If you want another variation of this map, let me know!

This is great! Oh, and on topic you mentioned in previous thread. By 3D skybox i mean a 3d skybox section of map where you can pose skybox props to add distance and depth for scenery.

Oh, I see! Well, let me add that as well...

Great! Also, just tested gm_black color. Fog not working in there on floor and sky at my case. But i guess its a trade off for colorable ground soo i'm not really complaining if it's impossible to fix.
No lag though.
Edit:
Nevermind, through edit of sky color and general light i achieved great fog quality.
It's great to finally have a real release for this. Could we have a version with a few meters of water on the ground? If it's not too much, I honestly have no idea what goes into making these variants.
Where's the ice?

Sometimes if fog doesn't cover the ground on certain maps, opening up the fog override through the console will fix that.
Could use some pics.

Working on a new version right now, going to upload screenshots of that then!
Thanks for the update!

How did you make fog cover the objects in skybox?
I can't figure it out.

Enter fog_override 1 into the console.
