First off, I'm not requesting these, so don't get the wrong idea.
Basically I'm wondering if it's possible to perhaps port the single player maps from Portal 2 for use in Gmod, much the same way the L4D 1 and 2 maps have been ported.
Would require alot of tweaking because of the new engine. Im not even sure if its worth it

It would be worth it mainly because of gamemode/modding, machinima, and Gmod posing purposes as well as general shenanagins. But you're probably right, it would take tremendous amounts of effort.
ı am play and finished portal 2 and single player maps are not allowed garry's mod 11

LoL anyways... I have tryed it (failed) and ofcourse you would need to know the new hex code to allowed the Portal 2 maps to open up in L4D/2 Authoring Tools.
There really isn't much to tweak.
So it can be done, we just have to wait for the right people to come along.

Which we will have to wait like 6 months...

yeah but have to wait a while
Not really possibly for a lot of maps, for they have a lot of new things that are coded directly into the engine. Which Garrysmod doesn't have.
But if someone wanted to make a quality Machinima then I would never suggest using Garrysmod anyway, just create your own scripted sequences and be done with it. It gives it much higher quality.
