I have recently made 2 maps and they both do not work (after the new source engine update) and i need help finding what is wrong with them
one will never update and the other keeps crashing. alt+p gives me nothing and interlopers compile check give no results either. Here are the maps.

Please help me. I hope this is posted in the right area.
Error: displacement found on a(n) func_detail entity - not supported (entity 567, brush 0)
Displacements cannot be entities.

This is a error that runs an older version of the map in the game, but doesn't crash
Tie the displacement in a world brush

Thanks but what about the other one that one is what I've been working on lately.
Could not locate 'GameData' key in c:\program files\steam\steamapps\lekeoi\half-life 2\hl2\gameinfo.txt

Thats a common error which doesent cause errors
Anyways, the only problem I can find in it is this one:

Just make it a world brush instead
I just loaded up exit to have a look at it, and you would do better to remake the entire thing.
1. Way too many overlapping decals. Learn to use them in the right places and use them effectively. Blood splattered everywhere looks stupid.
2. 1 unit thick walls and zfighting. Walls should be 8 minimum. Never make 1 unit thick walls, it makes them awkward to place. You have pillars zfighting on the outside with your external walls.
3. Texturing. Try to only texture the faces you can see.
There is more, but it means ripping the map apart, buttons are too high, i have no idea what everything is attached to as there are no meaningful names.
Best thing to do would be to start over and look on tuts for more information. Oh, and try to use clip to make cuts in brushes.
I would quite like to use it in a tutorial though if that is alright with you. It is a perfect example of a map that has things wrong with it, that could potentially be fixed.

Exit was just a test and was no real map it was planned on being redone if not completely scrapped. Thanks for informing about all the errors. I plan on getting better. That is okay with me for the tutorial thing.
