I am considering making bookshelves via brushes, because there no models for them... (Team Fortress 2, CTF_Library). I'm not sure whether to do this or not... mainly because of optimization issues... so I would like to know, is this convenient, I don't want computers everywhere as it's supposed to be a library..
Use Propper.
yup
If it's for use with a TF2 map, then make them in a modelling program.
Can someone guide me through it? Because I don't like the wiki, it just says really what it does, and I can't understand it much, can someone send me a tutorial link or something?

I don't want to learn modeling just for this.... I can't be bothered...
No it doesn't. The wiki has a tutorial. Read it through.
