can someone please tell me how to convert maps from portal and garrys mod into file types that hammer can read? i want to make some maps from the ground up but first i need a ground so i need to be able to convert theese maps into ones that hammer can read :P
Use a decompiler to decompile the bsp and get the vtf (The file hammer uses)

i mean, when i go to hammer and say open map and look under portal or garrysmod maps it doesnt show anything because hammer doesnt work with those file types. how do i convert them to hammer readable files???
