• CSS Props Aren't In Gmod Hammer

I have both Gmod and CSS (legit on steam of course), and I want to use CSS props in a Gmod map. For some reason, though, CSS models don't appear in the model browser. Is there a way to get those to be included short of extracting and copying all the materials and models from CSS to Gmod? EDIT: When I go into singleplayer in Gmod the models work fine and can be spawned. They still aren't in the Hammer model browser though.
If you REALLY bought it, then just mount it...
Prove that you have CS:S...
So, just to clarify, you are using a gmod config, which, by default i believe uses hl2:ep2 props. Rip open the gcf file for css, and copy the models into the models directory. Or, start hammer in the css config and make the map that way.
Prove that you have CS:S...
Here you go, my profile's games. http://steamcommunity.com/id/drkillpatient/games?tab=all And yes, Iron, I am using a Gmod config.
That explains most of it, I guess. Gmod config never works perfectly.
Has anyone created an actually working gmod config they'd be willing to share?
Has anyone created an actually working gmod config they'd be willing to share?
I don't bother using a gmod config. There is utterly no point to it. Just use the main game you need, for example i am making a map that is mostly portal based, so i use the portal config.
I'm doing a map for Trouble in Terrorist Town though, so I need Gmod for it.
Why?
Special entities I guess. In which case you can add the Gmod FGD to your Counter-Strike config.
