Just a quick question.
I'm mapping for Garry's mod (not sure if that has any significance or not)
and I've noticed that when i play test the map all of the physics props have been duplicated.
like ill break a potted plant and there will be an second, identical potted plant in the same position.
why does this happen, and how can i prevent it?
I don't know, but I suspect having L4D, L4D2 and CS Source mounted might be part of the problem.
I've had this problem for a while and every so often I try to figure out why. This is just my current theory though.

none yet. But i do have a theory on how to solve it I have yet to test. first thing's first is that I need to make a list of all props that are duplicated. So far I found that these props are all ones shared with both L4D2 (I lack L4D1) and previous source games. Items such as Hl2's Crowbar, crates from Day of Defeat, and several props from counter Strike source.
My untested theory to fix this is to extract the models from L4D2 and place them directly into Gmod's model folders seeing as how that should overwrite anything mounted. I don't know if this will work though.
Are the props prop_physics_multiplayer? If they are make sure in the settings for them that they wont respawn
Well if that fixes it for custom maps, it still needs to be fixed for official maps such as CS Office.
