Hello, well to start off im trying to get together with Gmod Tower for a similar group of gamemodes which are RP based but im looking for a mapper that could possibly get a map started. Some of my specs for this possible map are:
-Huge in total size
-Multiple Airports with security, hangers, fire-vehicle hangers, and military areas
-Huge parts of land w/lake possibly a stationary Aircraft Carrier to land on and stuff
-small areas on lake for smaller boats
-between 2-4 small/medium sized citys w/roads connecting all things together
As far as i know at the moment i have hardly any money for thing build but i could offer Super Admin, or small parts of monthly donations? If there's any questions or wonderings contact me on steam
Steam: Cool Pilot
Thanks

No
What you requested is extremely complex (which in itself isnt bad)
but no one wants to be admin on your server
actually, i took a look at your profile

If this is you and your group for your server, it would mean your server does not even exist yet.
So no one will trust you with any promise of donation chunks either
and even then, you are no where specific enough
Well i do have another map for our "first server to up" with a Western Theme. Smaller plot and only needs railroads but anyways i work more off skype and private steam chat/voice chats than the group chats/events. Also if no one is willing to help or look into it please get me more info on map making and the proper programs. Ive looked into Source SDK but ive seen people make great maps without SDK
2-4 medium sized cities in source, your dreaming buddy.
Hammer (map making program in sdk) is currently the best program available for making maps in source. Not sure what you're talking about. If you want to learn how to make maps, check out tutorials. My favourites are the ones made by TopHattWaffle.
As for your request, it's next to impossible to do in the source engine. We only have a cube that's 0.5 x 0.5 x 0.5 miles in dimension that we can work with. Even if the source engine could do it, nobody with the skillset you need for this map to succeed will do it for super admin.
Cash money?

well Statua, if im correct your the map maker for HRP and isnt it at least bigger than 0.5 x 0.5 x 0.5 miles? or am i just dazed by the fog making it look bigger? Also is anyone able to answer this final question: Is it possible to "stitch together" smaller maps? similar to rp_evocity_v33x but on straight land?

Not really you can copy and past but you will end up with a horribly optimised map because of its size and the way it's made. Secondly it's not good to just take buildings and or towns from maps without permission.

Thats a trick in mapping. Being able to make a map feel bigger then it really is. HRP uses a FarZ plane to prevent you from seeing other elements in the map, whilst using a 3D skybox to make the ocean look endless and seamless.
As for stitching, it's possible, but you still only have the 0.5 x 0.5 space to work with and as Wayno said, would need a lot of work to optimize and permission from the original creators.

Oh ok, well thanks for everybodys help for giving me a little bit more understanding. Statua i would like to ask you a question but the HRP owner dislikes me so i shall not ask...
Thanks

You could have a max size map with 3 airports, some hangars and some water, but the cities are not gonna work out in source, unless you build them underground ^^
