Custom models won't load in Hammer - Developers

I made a little piece of a map ages ago on my desktop PC, which subsequently broke. After half a year or so I just fixed the computer, and discovered, much to my chagrin, that the custom models I made for it don't show up in Hammer anymore. [img]http://img264.imageshack.us/img264/895/help1.jpg[/img] The models are still in the proper folder, as near as I can tell: [img]http://img199.imageshack.us/img199/760/help2w.jpg[/img] Ingame, the prop_physics trashcans I made still work, but the prop_statics are all gone. [img]http://img692.imageshack.us/img692/552/mall0027.jpg[/img] I don't know jack shit about Hammer and this is probably something obvious, but how can I fix this?

1. Are the models you have the right type? (Compiled with $staticprop, etc. You may have to change the type of model. Prop_dynamic, prop_physics, etc.) 2. The models might not show up because of you not having the models in the right directory.

They still appear to be in the correct directory. I don't think they were compiled wrong, because when I first made the map they worked fine: [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UB35mhlD4II[/media]

try use prop_dynamic

Custom textures I used on other maps aren't working either--in fact it looks as though no custom content is working at all.

Odd. Post the compile log of the map. And consider changing the prop_static to prop_dynamic or prop_physics?

I don't know how to code or animate, so that puts a bit of a damper on the whole thing, but you never know.
