I am really liking the 6th picture you put up. The outside seems a bit dull, and blocky... Try changing up the lighting and skybox, and maybe adding some more detail to buildings and roads.

Regardless, the map looks acceptable. The inside and outside look a bit too blocky for my tastes, but I see a lot of potential with successive iterations.

Okay guys back on topic! Like I said, it looks blocky, Besides that I would probably play on it if you changed the lighting too.

I came expecting shit. It's actually a lot better than I thought it would be. As it's been said before, the outside looks dull and blocky. I credit this to the lighting mainly, use a different skybox. I'd use sky_day01_08 if I were you, or any others. The borders could be more creative. Cliffs are getting generic. Maybe like other parts of the facility that block the area out, but you can go inside. So like a tall warehouse which you can't get on top of, but you can go inside. If that made any sense, at least. Some cliffs, of course are acceptable, but I just think all the borders being cliffs isn't. The floor texture on the 7th picture could use some working on, along with the H symbols on the helipads. You could use the one built into Episode 2. The H one, maybe pakrat it? The walls on the last pic look a bit... Bland. You should throw in some buttresses or something of the like. Maybe even just some decals. Maybe turn the grass outside into some displacements, or something. Maybe replace the built in water reservoir into a water tower or a few. It seems like it would get irradiated pretty easily. Or just move the water storage into the bunker itself? It would make more sense, so that someone wouldn't have to go outside all the time for water, and it'd be safer. If you insist on keeping the cliffs on the outside, at least for the wall with the gate, then make some concrete around it. There's already some, but some more could be better. Eh, that's it. Edit: Trees look like they could be used better. Or at least less dense.

Or at least less dense.[/QUOTE] these are good ideas , but im not good at thinking of ways to show the edge of a map especial with a river in it , i normally wait in-till i get the basic outline of each are before i add detail , props and such. and on pic 7 was very early scientist base , to be honest im thinking if redoing the base and making it look more modern and clean. the water in the airport bit was just some quick thinking i ran out of ideas of what do to , then hammer crashed. and the cliffs have been changed since those pics i only took them to put on my thread at smartzenneger.nl and my website , but i though they looked good so i didnt take anymore. EDIT: this part of the map is right in the top corner that's why i had the cliffs in the base , because i can build past there.

I have no clue who you are and haven't seen you before i am sure you must annoy a lot people with your lies.
textures repeat way to much Set the scale to about .85x.85
