Alright. There's been a complete lack of Half-Life 2 themed maps. I'm not happy with this fact, and since 1 Duck's beautiful City12 map seems to be released sometime in the next 50 years, and the most played Hl2 map is Dav Brun's weeaboo City 8 map, I've decided to take it upon myself to fix that. Now, I miss the days when City 45 and City 18 were the most played. They're still the best, even though City 45 is a pile of broken shit. C45 and C18 are STILL the best. I just hope mine comes anywhere close to those beautiful maps. Now. City 35 is a strange sort of map. It's [i] teeeeeechnically [/i] a Valve map. Well, more of a discontinued Valve map. You see, I came into possession of the WCMappack, and while looking through them, I noticed that some of these could make perfect RP maps. So I did just that. Now, you can whine, bitch, and moan about how this shit isn't mine, but I had to refucking texture this entire thing, because Valve cannot into Nodraw. So this is my goddamn work now. Oh, and I made most of the interiors like trainstations and Nexuses. (Or is that Nexi?) Right, enough of the introduction, you came here to see some fucking cities. Valve - Obviously, since they pretty much made the map. Myself - For retexturing EVERYTHING, and doing interiors and everything. The Missing Information team - Seriously. You guys rock. Thanks for letting me use your textures and models, (Even though they are technically Valve's Models. I still fucking love you.) And the Red Letter Day Roleplay community, mostly for forcing me to make this map. So yeah. C&C/Death threats below.

As for the blockyness, C17 is pretty blocky, but hey, so are most cities, I'm just going to detail it so the blockyness isn't as visible.
Yeah, the buildings in the fourth picture are just textured cubes, and that really stood out I think.

Good start, I like the sky a lot although the fog needs a bit of adjusting. I'm working on a Half-Life 2 map as well, so you're not alone. :v:

Anyways good job[/QUOTE] Believe me. I've had alot of problems with the citadel. It's just too bright right now. It doesn't fit the mood. So, I've got two ways of fixing it. A. I use the E3_terminal citadel, which looks beautiful. B. I use another moving citadel which looks good, but is extremely fucking small, although, I think I can fix that. [b] Hey. Read this. Use some texture brushes to make parts of it seem faded, and you got a really cool texture.

Alright gentlemen. Let's see some updates. Firstly. I've noticed some problems with my lighting. Quite frankly, I hate them. So. Lights are going to be fixed. Secondly. Detail. Deeeeeeeetaaaaail. The one thing that can make or break a map. I've been attempting to detailify the main plaza, rather than the trainstation, which I am going to get to. Finally, we have the citadel. I didn't like the citadel at first. So I removed it. Went through three different citadels. None of them worked, so I used a brush based one. Looked horrible, so I had to fix that up.
