What is this and how can I remove it?

I am using the EP1 hammer for the CS:S textures and I am getting this weird thing on selections in the 3D view.

Please tell me what it is and how to disable it. Thanks in advance.

Strange, I find it useful when making displacements etc. I wish Hammer was better optimized.

Try having it on and select a bunch of stuff. Then tell me that you don't accidentally move a brush or ten.
