Over the last 5 days or something I've constantly tried to fix my Hammer Editor for Garrysmod. All the tutorials I've found doesn't seem to work and if you would actually take your time to help me out i would really appriciate it. But then again, why would you :P Seems like a long shot to post this thread but what the hell. But yeah, it would mean a lot to me if you would actually spend your time on it. I'm thinking we could get in touch over steam or any other media, like Skype etc. Thanks
If you post the problem in your initial post people will be more likely to help, and it also lets others with the same problem to find a solution.

http://steamcommunity.com//sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=280167273 -- gave this error Another way is just my old configuration that actually worked quite well.. This is the error i keep getting no matter what I do ________________________________________________________________________________ I see your point in why it would be better to just solve it over this forum, but the thing is that by doing it this way, it'll take days to fix because of the late replies. Anyways, any solutions?
Source Multi-Tool is a good way to avoid problems with hammer, it's a matter of few clicks to get it set-up. Souce Multi-Tool Thread
A new Garry'smod update caused the SDKSingleplayer2013 Hammer to crash. You need to use a different Hammer. Go to "Tools" on Steam and download "SDKMultiplayer2013". Then when it's done go to the Steam directories in your "C:drive" or wherever Steam is saved. Then go to the "SDKMultiplayer2013" folder and go to bin. The Hammer you will use is in there. I recommend creating a shortcut on the desktop to it. Note: You will need to set-up all the directories again for the game settings and textures under "Tools" and "Options" in Hammer. Optional, For Custom Textures: If you use custom textures, go to the "hl2" folder, materials, then create a folder called "custom" in the materials folder. Put all ".vtf's" and ".vmt's" in there.
I made a guide a while back on how to map for Garry's Mod post-steampipe. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=259588878
