I'd like some large tree models. I'm currently using the huge trees from L4D2 but the way they are made, you need L4D2 to see them, even if you've packed all the materials. Plus they get lit weirdly. I've got the foliage pack from Garrysmod.org and the gm_forest stuff but the gm_forest trees have some issues with the leaves not visible from the top and the trees in the foliage pack are just too small. Anyone have/know of some models that may work for me?

I may be missing something in the texture files but I loaded the models in modelviewer and included ALL the vmt's and all the vtf's that were included in the vmt's and they appear invisible when only CSS and HL2 is mounted. They have a parameter which isnt recognized by source 2009 called 'patch'.
I already did staticpropolys. All staticproppolys does is cast shadows onto lightmapped surfaces with the polygons of the model rather then the hitbox. I'm going to see if the map will compile with staticproplighting too and see if that helps.
