When changing Func_Detail to Func_Door_Rotating It Changes Back to Func_Detail

As the title says, when i change func_detail to func_door_rotating when i leave the properties menu after saving it defaults back to func _detail.
This is getting really annoying as when i want to go back into the properties to change something i have to redo everything i did

Now a lot of my stuff is defaulting back to func_detail
Are you using ctrl-T to access them? I remember this was happening to me as well. I forget how I fixed it but I faintly remember checking to see if ignore grouping was off and breaking the habit of using crtl-t to access brushes.
Usually when that happens, I make sure I click "Apply" instead of press enter and then restart Hammer.

Yeh i use CTR + T to access the menu because i have no clue on how to access the menu another way when it's a Func_Detail
ctrl+T ties an entity
enter+alt opens the properties of an entity selected

double click on it in the 3d grid.
also make sure if ignore groups isn't on, since that simply ignores every function you give to the brush
Thanks everyone for all the suggestions. for some reason when i exited hammer and rebooted it, it worked. Also CTR + Alt doesn't seem to work for me
it's alt-enter

or double click the entity in the 3d perspective viewport
Ok thanks but can anyone here help me with this other problem i'm having. when i place down a bush using prop_Static the prop acts like there is a invisible box around it that you can stand on. How do i make it so you can walk through the bush
There should be a setting for collisions. You can set it to use vphysics, a bounding box, or just have no solidity at all.
