Yes i have finaly finished this map and it is now ready for you and your friends to play....
There are 2 areas...a Town and a Residential area. With a subway connecting both parts this map is perfect to play and rp on and with over 20 places to live there won't be any shortages of homes!

I'm still optimizing the map at the moment but it is almost done and the map is bigger with a new road making getting around more useful, interesting and fun! :D

you have to make a V2 of this soon by adding two new areas where the two blocked off tunnels are
The sun looks too white. Try adding some color tones to it.

Jamzzster, i've always liked your style of mapping, and it shows in this how much you've improved from the very start, I remember "Vartard". Good map, although some of the lighting is pretty bright and doesn't fit the environment, e.g. as stated above, the sun.

my complaints: Couches are going through walls, a hole in the ceiling of the bus station near the homes, and that same building, on the outside there are windows, inside no windows.

I am going to release update b4 christmas. I'm fixing that shitty lag atm and I am fixing that nightmarish furniture. For now get admins to remove or rotate it back. Yes the corss road has been put there for future extensions and there will be futures 1's but i need ideas 1st!
see the two tunnels that are blocked on both side of it i have two ideas for them
1. have a country road with a massvie woodland area with some wooding house's and a lake and some farmers land.
2. by the second tunnel have a small mountain town conneting to the rest of the map and have it so the only way to get up there is by that tunnel.
That sounds like Evocity bro.
Area portals please. The map can get REALLY laggy without them.

Yes i'm fixing that all up and fixing other things aswell. I guess my computer is too fast.
Few things that annoy me :/
1. Gas station inside needs to be bigger. Maybe make it a gas station/convenience store.
2. Lot of empty space on the second floor of the mall. maybe a third shop to fill in the space.
3. The bank needs alot more detail and the vault needs a better door and maybe an alarm?
4. The gamestop could use a few racks of dvds/games to start it with.
5. Fix the counters in some of the shops (Lower them)
6. add a few lights in the middle of the tunnel
That's all I can think of.
Besides suggesting adding more space/sections to the town (from those blocked off tunnels)
Nothing really 'bad' pretty minor things.
It might just be me, but the train throws errors.

Also, I'd appreciate some optimization - the framerate is all over the place in this map.
Also, in the business area, if you jump onto the fence near the alley or the hedges near the end of the road, you can look over the wall and see an untextured area. Maybe replace this with a flat grass texture or displacement?

This is also by the building that is Built around the curve ( i guess you could say)
nice map, running it on our main server right now. its laggy for some users, but for the most part its ok. we have all the usual bugs.
suggestion:
dont pre-pop world props, most users cant remove them on their own and they take away from the personalized feel people look for when rping.

just did more testing, its possible to get outside the map and get underneath, making it possible to see thru the ground without noclipping.
Alot of props standing in air
Some windows don't have frames
Big unrealistic windows in some parts of the map
Some bad brush work but its ok.

I love the look, but for it to be a real rp map could we maybe have a sewer system and a massive underground secure complex with hidden entrance and some plain odvious ones with huge blast doors for use as like vault101 or a mob base

I think I have found my new Favorite Role Play Map!
Some Suggestions:
- Re-Do The Mall Completely, Maybe add a Food Court or make the shops look more vibrant
- Add a slum area, Maybe off of one of the blocked passage ways. Make it with dark alleys and old torn buildings, Fun for Gangster RP
Besides that and the lighting this map is great!
This map looks better then rp_downtown_v2!
Althought i don't have CSS I'm downloading it anyways to see then shapes and some of the textures.
