Looks good. hard to find any ideas maybe some civilian houses outside the castle.

I've been thinking of that. Maby some houses by the lake and a prion cell in one of the towers.
Maybe you should make a gamemode like this where you have to break down each others doors. Make the door a draw bridge thing, but also make it breakable too. (the front door)
But make it rebuildable

He is good with torture
I've added a prison cell in one of the towers and made walkways in the walls.
And if you want a siege-like castle map i've got one upcoming. That pn will be larger and the walls will be breakable and there will be catapults and such things...
But i think this one would work better for roleplay or something...
And the bridge that goes into the castle is raisable and you can close/open the portcullis.

One little note. Add Keystones to your archways. The perfect 45 degree angle does not fit in with medieval architecture.
It also breaks up the shapes and gives you more dimension.
Looks nice sir. And yeah, midevil stuff is generally arched.
are theses custom textures? I've wanted some nice castle textures and yours look pretty nice. If they aren't custom, then are they from CS:S?

These are standard hl2 textures.
The map will be as big as it is now, but with more houses...

You should add a cave or a house in the forest, for the local wizard or apothecary.

Or you could be smart and use the rope tool on a ragdolls head and connect the rope to a vaguely gallow shaped contraption...

Dude, this is sick. May I suggest a Marketplace and maybe a farm or two? And make sure you add some good ambiance to get the medieval feel in.

-blue: a nice well.
-pink: A possible entrance to some caves below the castle? Maybe connects to the well and has some water in it.
-green: Farms and farmland. Just some nice plants in fields surrounded by some fences with one or two farm houses.
-maroon(dark red... looks like a bridge in the picture): a bridge that crosses the stream. Made of wood and allows peasants across.
-brown-ish yellow: paths. Dirt paths.
-yellow: farm house with no crops. Just a pasture surrounded by a wooden fence. Owns the docks over there.

Oh please do the expansion. It may take work, but it's going to be WAY beter if you make a castle that is actually a castle... you're meant to be able to sustain yourself for at least a month without outside sources inside a castle... like stores of things, houses, and what-not. You can't live in that teeny castle for a week without dying of hunger, thirst, or claustrophobia related diseases.
