• Weird displacement rule, or mapper stupidity?

When making a map, and adding displacements, when I try to "Paint Alpha" my displacements, it works for one displacement, but when I try to "Paint Alpha" any other displacement, it simply won't paint. Sorry for the wall of text
You have to use a blend texture.
Did you try to re-do it? I mean like delete and make new one, that happened to me as well, remaking it helped.
Well the thing is I make a displacement and then another. Both are exactly the same in texture, and the alpha is as well the same, but only the first works. Which do I delete, the first working one, or the multiple non-working ones?
You will have to delete all of them I'm affraid, because it will be hard then to make them to match. Unless you want to spend time sewing displacements.
What if the same thing happens again?
Then I have no idea.
Ok then I will re-try.
You sure you just didn't select the others?
I am sure, I didn't feel like deleting my work, so I re-started work on an older map I never finished, DWARVEN_CITY. Quick question, in Dwarven architecture, are the pillars rectangular or octangular?

Oh so many different ways dwarves build: Dwarven in L.O.T.R.O., L.o.t.R. Book, Dragon Age Origins: blocky octangular Concept art and L.o.t.R: Movie: Cylinder

Well, since I have began building using the D.O.A, L.O.T.R.O. way of dwarven building and making them quite blocky, but not undetailed. [editline]08:04PM[/editline] Would it be right if I posted the W.I.P. of the Dwarven tower?
