This is kind of hard to explain, but I'll try my best.
What I'm looking for is a way to project the shading of a side of a brush to the direct opposite side. Like this:

Would this be possible? I understand that this sounds extremely advanced, but I kind of assumed that this would work when using a transparent brush.

Oh, and if it would work it'd be pretty easy to create realtime volumetric light.

I've already gotten so far as to create realtime volumetric light but the problem is that it's only visible from the side it's projected.
I think the only way would be to exactly replicate the light sources.
You could try lightmap alt-right clicking but i highly doubt that would work.
Im sure it could be coded somehow though
