Old screenshot, not much has changed in it though.
So I've worked on this map for a little while and I'm not sure where to go with it really. I'm not sure what to add, and I'm not sure if I want to make it for something specific like TTT for Gmod. So if anyone wants to give some suggestions for some rooms or areas or something, that would be great. I'm kind of going with some kind of old abandoned hotel/apartment thing or something.
You can download the map [URL="http://filesmelt.com/dl/map7.rar"]here[/URL] to see what it looks like so far and what not. You might have to use "give item_suit" in the console so you can use the flashlight if it's too dark for you. Map is for Ep2, just extract it to your Ep2 folder. I haven't tried it out in Gmod but I assume it would work if you have Ep2 content.
It's never a good idea to start making something with a lot of detail and not having a plan for it.
Make it into some creative single player mod.

I never have a plan for anything i make. The images usually come in dreams.
Just keep the map for your portfolio.

You could just make a couple of rooms that are highly detailed link onto this one, like a corridor, bathroom, stairwell and kitchen. Other than that, although it looks very good it's probably only going to matter for posers or for people who want to see what you've worked on.
Well, it looks like you have a freight elevator off to the right. It sort of looks like the top floor of a C17 styled building with a staircase to the roof. Maybe you could make the hall longer in the other direction, and then add a roof area with a view of the street below?

The player spawns in the elevator.
I also didn't want to make the outside visible.
