this was a project i started in 2009 but dropped due to my shitty mapping skills and lack of reference pictures so i recently resurrected the project progress in hammer: THE CLOCK TOWER COURTHOUSE and 1955 WAR MEMORIAL STATLER MOTORS - STUDEBAKER BUILDING RUTHS FROCK SHOP BUILDING JACOBSON & FIELD ATTORNEYS AT LAW and WESTERN AUTO STORE CHECKLIST Roads and Sidewalks - 100% Outdoor Props - 15% Only the necessary benches have been placed. Clock Tower - 100% No working clock. Courthouse Square - 100% Statler Motors Building - 100% Ruth's Frock Shop - 100% Western Auto Store - 100% Blue Bird Motel - 0% Barber Shop - 0% Hill Valley Stationers - 0% Zales Jewelers - 0% Armstrong Realty - 0% Mr. Foster Travel Service - 0% Bank of America - 0% Lou's Cafe - 0% Roy's Records - 0% Texaco - 0% a buncha other buildings - 0%
Promising. Very promising, but you should post screens of in game stuff instead of hammer screens.
im planning to compile once all of the buildings are done
Do buildings one at a time and compile with a cordon
Yes, oh god yes
I am going to watch this like it's my five month old child.
OP, FYI you may get some better reference pictures/angles/ideas if you can manage to get yourself a copy of the complete bluray edition of Back to the Future. I was really surprised to see some of the behind the scenes stuff that i have never seen on tv before.
Btw might want to make some models that cannon looks odd
Looks like a half life 1 mod for back to the future. But it's not a bad mapping job. It just needs more detail and rounder objects. Good luck
Everything looks too square and low res.
Death god you magnificent bastard.
Mother of GOD. This could be amazing, but i'm not going to get my hopes up yet.
i am excited for this map
Wish people were this excited when I was working on my 50's town, that didn't look like it was made in Minecraft.
Wish people were this excited when I was working on my 50's town, that didn't look like it was made in Minecraft.
I was excited... FOR YOUR BIOSHOCK MAP, but you haven't updated that thread in a while.
Wish people were this excited when I was working on my 50's town, that didn't look like it was made in Minecraft.
I don't remember that, if it resurfaced I would be excited
neat update i managed to finish the western auto store also note that there will be a daytime and a nighttime with neato lights and im compiling the map with cordon for some ingame screens lucky you
I was excited... FOR YOUR BIOSHOCK MAP, but you haven't updated that thread in a while.
I gave up when Mr. Combine made one, his is bigger and better now. Since he's gone AWOL, I might pick it up, but I guarantee the moment I do he'll come back since that's what happened the last 2 times.
I'm actually curious to see what your 50s map looked like
I'm actually curious to see what your 50s map looked like
It didn't get especially far, just had a diner, a few houses and a drive-through theatre, and I didn't take much in the way of screenshots. I'm helping someone else with their 50's map now though.
Any chance of some in-game screenshots?
