What are some really beautiful maps that do not look like source engine?

What are some really beautiful maps that do not look like source games? I was looking for some maps that had a unqiue style to them and looked less like a half life 2 mod. I was preferably looking for some maps that took place ona battle field or were in ruin.

imo that's not a very good looking map at all, nor does it look like "not source". I guess it's kinda hard to tell with the screenshots being dark as they are.

Well I couldn't give a good example of what I was looking for. I just wanted a map that did not look like gmod when you saw it. The one thing I liked about that map was how the light effects were on it and tbh I liked how he had the design/layout of them map in general. It would work well for a tdm sorta deal.

Thank you for the link though I am seeing some really good looking maps on there. I wish gmod had better default textures or something, because that is honestly what holds back on a lot of the quality.

Those "gmod" textures are Half-Life 2 textures, a 2004 game. Source engine has improved, but not graphically by a lot, so you can only do so much with source before it cant handle anymore.
