Hey there mapping section, I'm at a dead end, I'm making a map currently, because I'm bored, working on for a few days and have two rooms, this is the second one, going up to the third, my problem is that there are no supports on the stairs, how am I going to get decent looking supports, models or brush based? (Also if anyone can suggest a better texture for the step sides please do.)

Google images is really great for inspiration, just Google something like "Metal stair supports" or "Metal stairs" and pull some inspiration from the images.

add some handrails and better lighting and it should look pretty good. You may want to change the textures though, it doesn't feel right for some reason.
Handrails, will do, yeah I can't find a decent texture for the stairs or the side supports.
