• why does my hammer hate simple things?

it hates a lot of things... most of the time when i add something too extreme to my maps (example: a 3d skybox), this happens. Why is your map so big that it touches the space outside the grid? Jesus man calm down before you map. Start small. The configurations are fine but from the name (wasteland) and the error type (BSP node with unbounded volume either means your brushes touch the outside of hammer grid or, from what I read on VDC, you're using a func_instance with cordons enabled inside it), it seems like hammer is telling you to think on a smaller scale. Also there's a Mapping Questions Megathread, post this sort of stuff there.
