Ever wanted to test a powerful weapon, but you can't because there's no map with breackable things with lot's of health? SO THIS MAP IS FOR YOU!
Gm_gun-testing-grounds is a sandbox map where you can spawn giant blocks wich you can destroy.
At first, it was just a gcombat test area, but I changed it and now you can test from a pistol to a nuke!
As well, this is my first map. Better said: First released map.

I like the idea and the lighting, but I think you could maybe add a bit more detail to the textures, like maybe adding a little bit of a different textured brush to the top of the buildings.
Also, maybe put a fence up round the outside so the map isn't floating in a void?

Pretty bland. Overused textures, lazily done, int he screenshot flying houses WTF?! Good idea, but needs more work.

Look at the screenshots above, and you will see some texture changes.
Also, what do you mean by "flying houses"?

1. The amount of detail can effect the gameplay of a map.
2. Layout of this map is shit.

To the first: Yeah, but deppending wich gameplay. You can play a map with a differen texture for each block, so you can see. Now, If you make all the textures the same you will not see, and if you add a lot of detail it needs a lot of time for compile!
To the third - I never care. It's my first map? NO
I already tested with another maps, and this is my best one

Whilst gameplay is important, making a map look pretty increases the interest in a map.

Personally, I hate seeing the default brick texture, anywhere, in any map. Those buttons are pretty ugly. I think you should just get a dynamic button prop for them – even the combinebutton model would be fine, just not bizarre orbs with the default texture.

Well, I can change the buttons so they look like the combine button
Edit: Actually I'm doing some test for adding a 3d skybox
