• Headaches when playing Half Life 2 (e1 & e2)

Well, this isn't really for mapping, but I am almost certain it has to do with the maps. I have to have the graphics really far up on PC to get the headaches, but if I play Half Life games on a console, I get really bad headaches and motion sickness in a few minutes of play time. I think this has to do with lighting, so that is why I put it here. I want to still be able to play Half Life 2 on the PS3. Is there a way too fix this, or at least can someone tell me the most likely reason for this? Thank you.

you can't really modify anything on the PS3
you can't really modify anything on the PS3
I know. Too bad though. I can still run the games on my PC, but with pretty low graphics.
Turn the lights on in your room when playing.
Play in a well lit area and drink plenty of water. This is not an issue with the maps, but with you.
Also take breaks if the headaches return.
I've heard something about 75 degree FoV causing headaches for some people if their monitor or TV is 16:9/16:10. If there's a setting to increase FoV, try it?
Yeah there is its like Options>video>advanced>fov Or just do fov 90 in console.
I don't get how you can get headaches from Source's FOV and yet still be fine with Halo 2 or Bad Company or some shit.
It could be the TV you're using, I'm pretty sure old tube TVs flash to make the an image, same with old CRT monitors.
Doesn't OB have really bad framerates on PS3? That could be attributing to the headaches.
I have exactly what you get, made me stop playing the game...
