While making some custom maps for Half Life 1 I decided to start making some custom textures with Wally. The problem im having is that I suck at drawing textures so im wondering if there is a way to convert an image into a texture.
Create a new Half-Life Package or open the .wad file you want to add the texture to, if you haven't done so already. Copy an image file (either through Windows Explorer or an image editing tool) and then right click in the package and choose Paste As New.
If you have multiple images that you want to convert, put them all in one directory. In Wally, open the File menu and choose the Batch Conversion option. Select the directory that contains the images and enter the appropriate wildcards. For instance, if you have PNG and JPG images, enter "*.png *.jpg" (without the quotation marks).
