• Chemical station (S.T.A.L.K.E.R. themed map)

It is themed with a similar environment, inspired by Stalker. It also uses a few models ported from Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl. It is a practice map. I've barely passed 150 hours in Hammer Editor, and this is merely my second map. It can be used for Machinima making, posing, RP, building. Whatever you well please. That radioactive damage could be much less. Unless you're blocking your map with it.

I have been mapping for a year and I am not that good. Why D: Great map though.
Cool, can't wait for the map to be released. More exterior would certainly be cool.
Add some smoke volume in the outdoor areas
heavily damaged areas should have fitting anomalies in them. collapsed places = gravitational burned = burners and ofcourse other anomalies in other places, such as electros in tight indoor areas. and the inside of the plant itself should ofcourse be FILLED with chemical anomalies.

I walked up, heard the wind and saw the environment, felt inspired, quit and made this map. V:v:V

Looks promising, but you really should go play STALKER more before working on the map. Also that radioactive sign looks bad, i'm fairly certain the one from the game has already been ported.

I scrapped the inside bit. Add a few crows around. It would make the map slightly more alive. And in STALKER, you would always see a flock of crows around you. In fact, in a blowout, those little thuds that you hear are all the crows around you dying all at once. :v:
Change that banister from the combine prop. I would just suggest making it out of brushes. Reduce the lighting in the train tunnels some more, train tunnels aren't that lit up. Aside from those niggles, absolutely fantastic map. 1:18, when the generator room came alive, was amazingly done. The atmosphere from 0:20-0:40 was really good, you got the flicker and darkness just right. Of course, the outside is wonderfully atmospheric; you've done a good job replicating that feeling of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Agreeing with the crows. [editline] aw shit [/editline] Also, just realized, your signs should be in Ukrainian/Russian, not English.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I should remind you this is Stalker themed, not Stalked based. It's not actually related to Stalker, just loosely based on the design of Stalker.
I ask if you could name the light_Environment. If you could do that, it would allow us to control the lighting with lua, so we could make a dynamic day/night cycles.
