I reformatted my computer a couple days ago in order to fix a few problems I had that were unrelated to hammer. After I had Steam, Source SDK, and all of my games reinstalled, I was confused to see that the Half-Life 2 and Episode One options were missing from the Source Engine 2006 drop-down menu.
Thinking it may have just been a problem from cleaning off my computer, I tried both resetting my game configurations and refreshing my SDK content; but with no success. I then simply tried running my missing games to see if they would appear, but no luck. After looking online, I found that verifying my game cache may help. I tried this with HL2, Ep1, and SDK, but still the only game I could map for was Half-Life 2: Deathmatch. I then tried reinstalling both games and Source SDK, and still the games did not appear.
So now I come to you all for help. Where do you think the problem lies?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Half Life 2 and Episode 1 were both upgraded to the 2009 engine, therefore you will no longer find them in the 2006 drop down. Instead, they should both be in the 2009 drop down.
No luck, only Episode 2, Team Fortress 2, and Portal are selectable under the 2009 engine.
Reset Game configurations.

Ok, that worked. Thank you very much for the help.
How come resetting for me won't do anything! DOD:S and CS:S will not appear!
That's a lot of games.

Try deleting your steam\steamapps\username\sourcesdk folder.
