• HOW TO: Upload Your Maps To Toybox

The update tomorrow will have toybox map downloading. So, you might want to get your map up ready. [url]http://toybox.garrysmod.com/IG/maps/[/url] So, here's how. Sign in here using your Steam account: [url]http://toybox.garrysmod.com/[/url] Go to Cloudscripts, My Maps, then Add. [url]http://toybox.garrysmod.com/cloudscript/?upload=map[/url] Fill in the details, and add. Now you need to upload your map. [url]http://toybox.garrysmod.com/content/[/url] You need to make a zip file containing your map and any other files it requires. They need to be in the ROOT of the zip folder. Upload it. Please let me know if you have any problems here. Now go back to your map, in cloudscripts, my map, edit your map, and click on the content. Now you need to find the content that needs to be downloaded for your map - click the names to make them go to the right column. Once you're done, don't forget to make your map Live by clicking on the Edit Status tab. [highlight] DON'T UPLOAD STUFF YOU DIDN'T MAKE DON'T UPLOAD VALVE'S STUFF ETC DON'T DO ANYTHING STUPID - BECAUSE YOUR STEAMID WILL BE BLOCKED FROM THIS SERVICE FOREVER. "Eye Candy" sounds a bit funny, what about "Scenic"?

What are physics maps. I think the category title needs to be more descriptive than "physics".
How about main categories like this: - Roleplay ..- DarkRP ..-PERP ..- HL2RP - Fretta/Gamemodes ..- TTT ..- Deathrun ..- ... - Race Etc.

I added a Physics category. I also added a "Work In Progress" category, since the intention is to allow stuff to be auto-updated from the website.
WIP, does this mean there will be a section for VMFs? I would not mind uploading a few for people to work on.

Usually when someone is creating a WIP map, they add in "alpha/V1/ver/final". Would the auto-update be able to detect that it is the same map and automatically update it, or will it just see it as something new and download it (meaning you now have two of the same map essentially)?

Otherwise I would have stuck with the garrysmod.org download site.

Although before it can happen, there must be 1.tons of servers in facepunch (backup included). 2 . garry to hook up facepunch with 1GB/s or faster network (don't know if he can have it in he's area, but in japan it's pretty common that a HOUSEHOLD has it) I have heard that personal networking isn't so advanced elsewhere yet. At the moment it is impossible for him to do, pointing to recent events. Or correct me garry, if i am wrong.
