A month of work has finally paid off. This is my first map in Hammer, so it does have a few glitches aesthetics wise, but other than that it's functional and spacious. This is actually pretty good for a first map. Keep on working on this map and add some detail. That long hall could use alot more detail, try adding some func_detail.

Func_detail isn't to assign detail objects either.

Also slightly wrong, you use func_detail on stuff that is detail, like a door frame, rails, ladders, etc. Basically, you can func_detail anything that is not touching the void, but still that is not recommended in my opinion. If the mapper does not like the feedback then he should not release the map.

does this map actualy have any space in it?

Blocky means makes it un-blocky. Lack of detail means add more in. Too much emptyness means add more stuff in. It tells him EXACTLY what to do short and sweet. He gave him criticism, and was hardly going bad on the guy at all.

If he couldn't figure that out (and as a side note, neither did you) then I advise to never ever open Hammer again. ...God why do newbies always have to be THIS retarded?

The creator of the map will then know those flaws are things he should avoid, so it is, in a way, telling him how to improve.
