NOTE: you need either gm_mount2 for this to work or you need the models and materials ported to gmod.

this is basically the hospital level from left 4 dead, but fixed. what was removed were the bodies, blood, cracks in the walls, open walls, anything that would have made it look like as if it were abandoned.
reason for map: i thought it would be helpful for a hospital movie or some left 4 dead comics of the prelude of the infection.
known bugs and issues:
light distortion inaccurate on some areas of the map
some doors will not close after they are opened [still working on hat fix]
[more will be added if noted]
to all mappers, if you feel like you can improve on the map feel free to edit the .vmf file included in the zip file.

I agree it is pretty bright in some areas. I think you should have kept it the nighttime style and just had all the lights on.

i could make a v1_nolights if the demand is high. but i might just fix it in v2 if i get to it
Cool, but i'd really like the Mall from L4D2 as if it had never gone under Zombie apocalypse if possible.
Overall, nice map.
Coud you possibly make the L4D models and materials custom so we don't need L4D to play the map. That's what most mappers do now.

Or at least get the materials and models for it and put it along in the folder with the map. That'd be great. Like a seperate folder with all L4D materials and models. Allthough I used to have them but they dissapeared D:
I love this idea, the only thing keeping me from downloading this is the fact that it looks like its fullbright, if you could fix that i'd download it in an instant.

ill get it fixed into v2 if i get around to it. im currently workin on the other l4d maps already ported to gmod. after that ill try to fix up the maps of the additional bugs that came up.
fantastic map man, it looks so full of life.
man looks so good with out it being night, having no lights and blood everywhere with corpses at the walls with barricades and chairs on the floor!
Well, you did a nice job of fixing it up, but that lighting is awful. Maybe try using light_spots for your lighting, with fairly dim basic lights for ambient lighting. And tone it all down, like about half. Also, the lights shouldn't be pure white.
Add a very small tinge of beige to them, it'll make them feel more natural.
