i thought it might be the texture im using. but i tried to change the texture and every time i changed it the error just switched where it says "Texture: METAL/CITADEL_METALWALL072C" to whatever material i replaced it with.

ok i now know what the problem is (thanks), i tried to overcome it and ended up removing every vertex all together. nothing but floor and a sky now...

still doesnt work. nice job hammer. real professional tool this.

If you click "View" then "Go to brush number" and type "257", you will be taken to the brush onebit mentioned.
