I downloaded this prop pack. I saved them in a folder named props_foodnhouseholditems. I placed said folder into C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\models where all of my other props_ folders are located.
I then placed an entity in my map. Opened up the Object Properties menu (double clicked the entity) and turned it into prop_physics, _dynamic and _static. (as in, i tried all three of these configurations.)
Now, the props_foodnhouseholditems folder shows up; as do all the items on the list.
But in the prop preview window, the prop is invisible. (screenshot)
And even if i DO place it in my map -- it's also invisible. (screenshot)
(No duh, but I figured i'd try anyway. Being thorough, here.)
So, i'm sure this has probably been asked time and time again -- but I searched the forums a bit before posting. I know how annoying it can be to forum regulars to be asked the same questions over and over. I mean no annoyance, i'm simply trying to get some assistance without spending more of my time scrounging through badly labeled archived threads. Thanks for reading. Hope someone can help me out.
The models are not the same version correspondent to the engine version i believe

*big sigh*
that's what I was afraid of.
So is there any way I could possibly make both versions correspond to each other, or is that basically impossible for the time being seeing as how both CS:GO and the updated GMod are relatively new?
