Hey Facepunch! This is my first thread.. post.. thing. Hooray!
It's also my first released map. I've been contemplating putting it on here because of the critical nature of some of the people on this forum. I don't really want to get rated too hard, but constructive criticism is appreciated. :/
Anywho, this is Salad Fingers' house. I tried best I could because it's never been done before (or at least released).

It's in the middle of nowhere, and, the little green man lives by himself. The only company he has with him are his finger puppets. Hubert Cumberdale, Jeremy Fisher, and Margory Stewart Baxter.

Sometimes, when he listens to the war on his radio, it gives off some unpleasant frequencies.

When that happens, he retreats to his safety cupboard to wait it out.

After a long wait in the safety cupboard, he can get some shut eye in his bedroom.

Other times, he likes to have little get-togethers, but he needs a stranger's help to get the fish from the oven. It's at the back, but he can't reach it.

He likes when the red water comes out, but it's more enjoyable in his meat locker, which is somewhere over the rainbow in his masochistic state of mind.

Now, for the download. You need Counter-Strike: Source for this map to work! Otherwise you will have those nasty checkerboard textures. And that's no fun for anybody!

Map looks way better than my map the I released last night..
It looks way too.....bright.
Salad fingers is really dark and gloomy in terms of colours, I think if I loaded this up the bloom would burn my eyes off D:
Well. I was kind of aiming for it to be light outside, but dark and gloomy inside.
I think I failed.
Let's agree on that one.
Very blocky, lots of repeating textures, and little object details.
