I decompiled a Half-Life: Source map with bspsrc and edited a few things with Hammer Editor. I am using the Hammer Editor that comes with Portal. I have all of the textures working fine, but for some reason, there are no lights. Before editing the map in Hammer it was fine in Portal, but after editing it in Hammer, it is stuck in fullbright.
Here are some things I have already tried:

Well i know you said ignore the textures, however if hammer doesn't know what to bake the lighting into, it will be fullbright on those textures.
I don't see how I didn't notice that. Thanks, but I am now getting another lighting issue. The floors and walls are VERY shiny and reflect a strange image.

Try rebuilding the cube maps
