So basically, put your fancy pictures here, or if you have mapping block, look for fancy pictures and then map them.
And since the best threads have rules, have some rules.

1: This is not a thread for pictures of you.
2: This is not a thread for pictures of your cat or other people's cats.
3: This is not a thread for pictures of your musical instruments.
4: This is not a thread for mapping requests or pictures of your map.
5: This is not a thread for your artsy pictures of flowers and cupcakes. If the picture isn't mappable, take it to Creationism Corner.

6: This thread is for pictures of things that would be possible to map in Hammer, or at least to a degree.
7: This thread is for discussion about the pictures previously posted and requests for pictures, such as "hey, can you get a closer picture of that thing in the corner" or "can you take a picture of the outside too".

8: For larger images, use [t] instead of [img] so that they don't stretch the page.
9: Please try to avoid posting massive, epic concept art or fan-art. While those are cool, they're practically impossible to create in Hammer and they're very easy to find on Google.
10: I'd recommend trying to use only [i]your[/i] photos, but if you found a photo from a source that isn't well-known ([b]ie, NOT GOOGLING "cool pictures"[/b]) you're encouraged to post it.

So, start posting your pictures. And if anyone has a better banner, please share it.

Those are great, but try to use [t] instead of [img] for bigger images so that they don't stretch the page. Actually, I should add that onto the rules.

I know this is a very late response, but all of those houses have been renovated. Yet I thought that it would be more fun to map shitty, outdated houses.

I have a bunch of photos from the Soviet Foxtrot-class submarine B-427 "Scorpion" museum ship in Long Beach. Resolutions are a bit funny because I took them with my phone.

Submarines and ships in general don't lend themselves very well to Source mapping due to the compactness and detail, but I still think these pictures are worth sharing.

Here it is docked rather unceremoniously next to the much more popular and prestigious RMS Queen Mary.

Also it should be noted that this sub was obsolete by the time the last one set sail. It has no ballistic missile capabilities, only torpedoes. It also still ran on a diesel/electric power configuration instead of nuclear power like most cold war and all modern submarines.

So this is basically closer to a U-boat or other WWII sub than more modern submarines like Ohio, Nautilus, or Typhoon class ships.

I think a better general rule for this thread would be that you didn't find it on google images. There's probably a bunch of old blogs, websites, and image boards with loads of great content for us that just aren't popular.
