[/quote] First off, Crusty-Bobcat has been my new username for years, I just don't see a point in making a new user for Facepunch when this one works fine. As I said in the Zombie master forums, I'm posting to give mappers idea's (and maybe get an idea from someone on where to take the map next) All idea's appreciated EDIT: Thumbnails fixed :v:
first custom zm2 map i've seen :v: you could include the texture + brushwork, and give the map more realism and detail. it looks like it's floating in the middle of the sky, you should surround it in a world with a 3d skybox. your lighting also needs to be improved.
Durp, it looks like its floating because I haven't done anything with it. It's the start of the map, not the map in completion. Obviously I still have to tweak things, but that comes after a majority of the map is completed. What I need is storyline tips, like "you go from the bathroom, once you find your way outside a message pops up saying "investigate the fire" or some shit, then you find yourself at a burning building with the only doorway you can go through. Navigate back a bit and you find a firetruck (or some shit). You now make your way through and do some stupid puzzle to get out of the house, 10-20 puzzles later you finally complete the map. uh i'm giving you criticism and ways to improve your map. this is the mapping section, not the storyline section.

What he means is, we're here to help you out with your mapping, not your storylining. Not that I couldn't though. Make everybody master chefs, reskin all the weapons to be bulgogi, and have no enemies but an internal character conflict that overwhelms everybody at the end. Seriously though, I think you should detail what you have more and work on the brushwork, or go straight brushwork. Right now your number of pictures is disproportionate to the amount of content.
It would be better as a video to show you how everything works, I'm just on a shitty PC so screenshot storyline explanation is all I had to offer. Regardless, thanks for 'pointing me in the right direction' [sp] or lack there of [/sp]
