Hello, fellow mappers.
As you know, Steam has re-tooled the source game directory to the new steampipe form. This has caused all packing programs for including custom content in maps (such as Pack BSP, and Pakrat) to be rendered useless, since they use the old directories.
If anyone knows of a program that is set-up for the steampipe directories, please tell me, as it is frustrating that a small problem like this is affecting so much. Also, if there is no new program, is there any way to reprogram the application to use new directories?
Thanks.

download and double click vide.exe
click rightmost icon (pakfile lump editor)
open bsp of choice and click scan
choose correct directory like C:/program files (x86)/steam/steamapps/common/counter-strike source/cstrike
click scan again
add files or just press auto
click apply and save packed bsp
Thanks, you are SO awesome!
Pakrat just needs a simple change of directory and it works fine, or as good as it did but I find I still need to manually pack things on each map.
You need to load up a map file and then under File click Preferences and aim the directory to your custom folder, something along the lines of:-
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Half-Life 2 Deathmatch\hl2mp\custom
