Hello there. Now, i love making maps. Like, it is a hobby for me. But in not so good on mapping and need good ideas to make maps. Any suggestion? Like, place, objects, enemy? I will hear everybody :D
I find if I'm out of ideas I map for a different game than I normally map for. It is also a good idea to know that you can finish it and have enough interest/motivation to stick with it, so start on a small scale and if you keep interest then expand later on but try to stick to a layout you've had all along, (depending on what its for). These things vary for different people and different things though, so just do what feels right.
