Hey everyone,
I've been working on this for quite some time, and it's way past the point where I should have stopped. . . so here it finally is!
---
Inspired by Deus Ex and Max Payne, HotwireSlum was created with a "vertical gameplay" theme, allowing you to climb through vents, up ladders, and over fences to give yourself an advantage and lose pursuers. I wanted to capture a bit of mystery to the old PC games from the 90's and early 00's, although you won't have to get a game guide to get there.
Many areas that you can get to have lights above them or are blatantly obvious, and there are plenty of "closet" areas for you to hide in.
Could you please take representative screenshots of the map and put them in the OP? Thanks.
Probably not an idea to vote someone dumb for asking for screenshots.

Check the time of mozarts post and the post time of the op and edit time.
Solely based off the two screenshots, that looks pretty cool. I love how the buildings are so tightly packed together — it really contributes to the map's theme.
Thanks for the feedback guys,
Sorry for the Dumb thing - I just thought it was silly/insulting that I literally got no feedback other than a cold, automatic response (screenshots were already provided in the workshop link).
Sorry mate, mistake learned! It looks better with them anyway! :tinfoil:
You want your first post to be dripping with screenshots and info about the map, no matter if there are more screenshots on another site, you need them here too. You will get better feedback if people want to download it.

No hard feelings.
Indeed, people sometimes might not take the time to look at the submission unless you provide screenshots in the OP. It's quicker and easier that way for everyone, plus it makes your thread look pretty.
The Deus Ex radio needs louder music. I can barely hear it over the soundscape. Also you need to add a roof on the highest building. One can climb a pipe up and see the nodraw there. Other than that the map is great though.
It seems no matter how many ttt maps or rp maps or whatever are released, all I see is the old rotations from eons ago. Here's hoping that this one gets enough attention.
Sorry, you need to Log In to post a reply to this thread.
