• Porting Ep2 content to Portal 2 SDK?

What I'm wondering is if it's possible to port all of EP2's content from the gcf's into the portal 2 SDK, and not only have textures and models but working scripts and NPC's too? I've had some experience getting different textures and models into different games, such as porting content from Half Life 2/episodes models and textures into source movie maker, getting portal turrets in Half Life 2 and dead headcrabs in Portal 2, so moving files around isn't too daunting for me. What interests me about the Portal 2 SDK is the Portal brush and I have wild ideas in using this with Half Life 2 assets. Are working NPC's even possible with the right files from the gcf? I don't mind barrelling through files for days if that's what it takes.
NPC's won't port no mater what you do they are hardcoded into ep2.

Its a shame there aren't many NPC's in Portal 2. I would love to see what modders could do with NPC and weapon coding in Portal 2.
