• Need some urgent help from my mapping buddies!!!

Hello all, I'm prepping a game for release on steam and I've just encountered a crazy problem. Getting this spamming console over and over total channels == max channels!!! total channels == max channels!!! total channels == max channels!!! I urgently need to fix this as its crippling the FPS to under 10 at least i think that is the cause. Would really appreciate any help. Rich
I don't think this is a mapping related issue. Whats the condump look like? What map? Why do you think this is a map problem?

I tried your solution and it did indeed work many thanks! However, it has had a knock on effect on some of the other entities, theres a hunter in this map thats no longer making any noise, its a template npc and it not even spawned whan i entered the command. May just have to bite the bullet and split this into 2 levels. Thanks though. Rich [editline]11th January 2016[/editline] Also im not sure if im being a noob and overlooking something here but I don't understand how for example when I entered stop sound it came up with like "headcrabcrawl" for example, when the player is miles away from the only headcrabs. Do these manually have the be killed off once they are done with? I was under the assumption that the channels would work on a basic radius system...
