• Is It Possible to Use AutoCAD to Map in Source?

Hey guys, so I have been interested in this idea for awhile, but I can't find really anything on it. Does anyone know if it's possible to create a map in autocad then possibly export to a file hammer can read?
No.
I don't know too much about AutoCAD but if it can export .mdl files you can export whatever you built to a model, follow a tutorial to make it source compatible then just recreate collision boxes with player clips. Otherwise no, it's not possible. It'll be painstakingly annoying since you have to rebuild the model after every update you want to test but I guess if that's what you want to do then go for it.

Source doesn't handle model lighting that well.
You guys do know that hammer can import dmx files right?
