When making my map, I use displacements to get bumpy areas, and most of the time i over lap them as shows on the image below. When they over lap, they cause a shadow between the displacements.
Is there anyway on preventing this from happening?

overlapping displacements cast shadows on each other. Make them line up.

You're allowed to line a corner up with a middle like this

That should make it significantly easier for you to block out your displacements.

Ah, i understand. Near enough all of my displacements are of different sizes.

displacements can be any shape as long as they have 4 sides, so vertex manipulate to make some fit.
