Hello, how do you generate 3d skybox please?? Thank-you. Zokeys.
There's heaps of stuff on this, a big part of mapping is problem solving ^_^ A quick google is a great place to start, just the first couple results for you guys https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/3D_Skybox https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=40oIyq5IWPk

Can I make a smaller version of my whole map, then use propper to make it as a small prop and use it as a 3d skybox??
I guess ya could, use the transform tool (ctrl + M) and have a try Just remember to only use the main parts/big bits of geometry, since hammer doesn't like extremely small brushes (anything under 0.5 units iirc)
You don't need to resize the map in Hammer, you can adjust the model scale in the model QC to make it smaller.
Hey, thanks for your answer! But are displacement able to be put as props?
Hey, thanks for your answer! But are displacement able to be put as props?
if you only have displacements in the level place a single normal world brush in it or the compile will crash
