point_servercommand not doing anything

yes, the perimeter and outputs are all spelt correctly.

i found a couple of threads about this same issue. they said some things about lua implications? it wasnt very clear on what the fix was and i was wondering if somebody who could dumb it down for me might have a clue?

Your server might be blocking sv_allow_point_servercommand by default. You will need to make sure the variable is set to allow or 1 (don"t remember which) in your server.cfg file. The command was gated because people would abuse it in various ways such as preventing themselves from being banned or granting themselves admin etc.
