• A problem with scripted NPCs

Hello, I have a problem when I am creating a map with scripted NPCs. They perform just fine in HL2EP2, but in Garry's Mod they start to have random limbs turn invisible, don't execute animations properly and eventually crash the game. It happens when they become hostile to the player. The way I'm making them hostile to the player is to "giveweapon" them a weapon_annabelle, using an ai_relationship with the flags *Alert Location of target*, and cancelling their scripted_sequences if any are present. Sometimes the crash happens the very second the enemies turn hostile, other times it can take about a minute for it to occur. It doesn't happen to everyone who tests the map, but for the majority it seems so. Any help with this issue would be appreciated.
Do you have the Episode 2 content enabled in Garry's Mod?

It was that I had the animation files (male_gestures, female_gestures, alyx_gestures) etc Pakratted into the map which caused it to corrupt the animations and crash it in Gmod for some reason.
