Hello, greetings to all.
I want to open this talk due to a problem I have had for many years, it is a problem that has prevented me from playing RUST since I bought it 2 years ago until today.
The issue is that when downloading the game and proceed to install everything goes in a great way, but when I go to play, after 10-20 minutes of game I get out of the game and I throw the following error (SEE IMAGE). "Disconnected Integrity Error: Corrupted Memory: RustClient.exe".
I have contacted the technical support of FacePunch and concretely I did not offer any real solution.
The only thing he said was to verify the integrity of the game from the Steam platform, but it has not worked either.
For 2 weeks I was chatting with technical support and we ended up with a "Make a post in the forum and wait for you to respond .."
I feel SCAMPED, since when buying this title at least I would like them to give me the help they need, to give me the solution I have been asking for for 2 years.
I hope someone shares this forum and can help me URGENTLY, I do not want to lose my money and I do not want to waste my time either.
Thank you very much everyone and I hope someone can help me.

I'm not a computer wiz, nor am I familiar with this kind of error. But using common sense, "corrupted memory" sounds like a problem with how much memory the game is running on. The game is extremely unstable and uses all your computers resources.
When making a post related to an error I recommend always putting your computers specifications in, so we can use that to filter in, or out what we as a community need to help you fix this problem. In this case, your memory could be useful since it's what the error is stating.
For an unstable game such as Rust, I'd recommend setting your Rust to run as administrator. To do this all you need to do if find Rust through the steam files and find right click on Rusts .exe and click properties, compatibility and set it to "Run as Administrator" and apply that setting. This will ensure Rust is always getting everything it needs from the computer and may perhaps stop it from crashing.
Smaller, but possible fixes:
Are you running Rust through steam? If so, I'd recommend that. If you aren't and still want to run Rust through administrator, you just do the same to steam, go to properties, compatibility and click "Run as Administrator" and it will run all games you open through steam as administrator.
When Rust loads, does the EasyAntiCheat load for you? If not it could be a sign that it's not working properly so you can't connect to servers. If that's the case, find EAC, delete the .exe and then validate your game files. If that doesn't work you can open up EasyAntiCheat manually and click repair.
Let me know if any of this is fixed so other people who have this problem can use this as a tool to fix it themselves. Also please post your computer specifications if none of these work, it could help me or others find out the problem a bit easier.
Thank you very much for your prompt response, the specifications of my computer are the following:
- Intel (R) Pentium (R) 4 CPU 3.20GHz 3.20GHz.
- Installed Memory (RAM): 8.00 GB Kingston KVR800D2N6 / 2GB.
- Installed Graphic: AMD Radeon HD6450 / 1GB DDR3 Sapphire.
- Hard Disk: 300 GB - 100 GB Available.
None of these procedures has managed to solve the error, I made them on several occasions when the previous "Technician" attended me and really was exactly the same.
I hope we can solve it because I have seen in Steam Forums that this problem is common in many people that no one has really found a solution that works, if this is solved it would be very helpful for the community in general.
8GB seems like the minimum amount you can run the game on these days, but my question is, is your Rust actually using all your memory? Perhaps try setting your launch options to use all your memory. To do this all you need to do is type this into launch options: -maxMem=8192
To be quite frank, I'm surprised that Facepunch has offered such a pitiful response instead of guiding you in ways to fix it. I'd recommend posting this problem in other popular forums for Rust such as Reddit.
I can't really think of what else to do. For the time being I'll keep coming back to this post occasionally to see if I can other other solutions. Sorry.
So basically there is no solution, for me this does not make any sense since that error exists and already the development team knows that it exists, otherwise the message "Disconnected ..." would not appear.
I do not know what else to do, or who to turn to, even if you can not solve this error ...
Okay thank you for providing that screenshot, I was able to delve deeper into why this is happening and found a post from an EAC Member named Knubbe.
This happens when something is modifying the game's executable code runtime.
The possible causes for this to happen are:
- Corrupted RAM sticks, run memtest to find out if you have faulty physical RAM sticks on board.
- Virus/Malware hijacking every running process and placing their inline code hooks.
Recommended Fix:
Download an anti-virus software and run a full system check, personally I'd recommend MalwareBytes since it's what I use, and so do they.
Last resort:
I'm very sorry that you can't find a fix for this. However the errors always mention your memory. My bets are that one of your RAM sticks are indeed corrupted, I think you should keep on top of that and look up ways to find out if its definitely corrupted and how to fix it. Purchasing RAM and installing it into your computer isn't a hard task either, and won't be that expensive. If you really want to play Rust, and this is your problem then I'd recommend doing so.
Good luck! I'll keep adding to this thread if I find anything else.
Today I continue with the same error, I need a solution, I do not fit in my thoughts that the developer does not have a solution to this, I really feel very disillusioned

Pentium 4? I think you simply need a new computer at this point instead of trying to squeeze any remaining drops of usability left.
Also considering the fact that your PC is extremely old, it may simply starts to fail from age. Run memtest86 and test your memories.
